New Android KitKat 4.4.2 OmniRom for the TF101 is shipped

There is a new version of the Android KitKat OmniRom 4.4.2 out. That's what sidneyk from the xda-developers.com says. I was following the thread for a while before and it sounded like someone was working on release till the very last moment. I'm not quiet sure who sidneyk is connected to the development team of omnirom.org but it seems he got a stable connection to the and is legit to post his work. Let's support him then!

To be fair I do have to admit, that I can't say a lot to this release from personal experiences since I haven't come to test the build myself. The Thread seems a bit ... "unoccupied" but the efforts of the user sidneyk - who seems to be bringing the OmniRom Project of @Xplodwild, @Chainfire, @Dees_Troy & Team to xda-developers.com are great. So people should help him. The outcome for our beloved TF101 might be huge. Iwill give it a shot these days. I'm way to satisfyied with Timdurus 4.4.2 build (even if it has some flaws).

So what's new in OmniRom 4.4.2 for TF101 then anyway?

So what I can assume for now, these are the recent changes and what's on the agenda:

Improvements:

• I have cherry-picked the latest multi-window patch accessible by long pressing an app in the normal Recents view and choosing 'Put Aside'.
• There have been various UI tweaks and several changes to TWRP as well. Check the Omni gerrit for recent merges and more info. 
• seems to be fairly stable.

Work to do:

• We still have a broken Netflix
• We do have dock and dock battery support, just still no visibility to the dock battery
• to be found out...
