KatKiss #35, OmniRom 2014-10-04, TWRP 2.8.0.2 and a new KatKiss 4.4.x bootanimation

It seems like Tim is recovering from his surgery and releases some new versions of his KatKiss ROMs for the Asus Transformer TF101 and Asus Transformer TF300. There is also a shiny new version of TWRP (2.8.0.2) and a new OmiRom release for the Asus TF101.

[...] this or something like that was to read on several sites ( and was what I actually had to hear from a friend ) across the internet. After some research the cause of this "hoax" was pretty clear. At least imho it's THIS ( The Postillion ) article. Obviuosly some users took this gag a bit too seriously.

There has been some movement on the xda community (regarding the TF101) lately.
There is a new TWRP, a new KatKiss and a new OmniRom version.

I wasn't able to have a closer look myself on the latest OmiRom Release for the TF101 while I already put up reviews for the TWRP 2.6.0.3-13 version and the new Android KitKat KatKiss #22 vesion ( as I gave a small preview on the #23 version - multi window mode YEY!).

Whatsapp down. As to read on several sites (Augsburger) the Whatsapp services are down. My personal guess would be that the reasons for that might rest within the Facebook overtake. Whatever. I'm going to switch to Threema (as many other users) for now anyway and wait for better or smarter alternatives. Nothing personal Whatsapp. You did well. But I don't like the idea of Zuck having full control of my smartphone... :>

Timduru releases Android KatKiss 4.4.2 #21 for Asus Transformer TF101 - xda-developers.com

Tim just announced and uploaded the new Android 4.2.2 KitKat KatKiss #21.  Most changes are reöated to the browser, the cam and the launcher. Especially the the launcher had been worrying some usern, since the wallpaper rendering seems to interfere with some launchers like eG Nov, Apex and Go. He has to reupload the GApps because of some errors but the package should be up and working for download soon. Find the download links and changes below.

New Android KitKat 4.4.2 OmniRom for the TF101 is shipped

There is a new version of the Android KitKat OmniRom 4.4.2 out. That's what sidneyk from the xda-developers.com says. I was following the thread for a while before and it sounded like someone was working on release till the very last moment. I'm not quiet sure who sidneyk is connected to the development team of omnirom.org but it seems he got a stable connection to the and is legit to post his work. Let's support him then!

Timduru releases Android KatKiss 4.4.2 #20 for Asus Transformer TF101 - xda-developers.com

By accident I just read that the new version of Timdurus Android KitKat KatKiss 4.4.2 ROM is out. You can get the #20 version over here at xda-developers.com. Maybe I'll take some time and do a "how to wipe / format / install a new rom correctly" tutorial since I will update the ROM now too anyway.
